Oklahoma Laws & Robin Ridge Bylaws

The following state laws and HOA governing documents define how the Robin Ridge Association must operate. All homeowners have the right to access these materials for full transparency.

Oklahoma Nonprofit Corporation Act – §1065

This law guarantees any member of a nonprofit corporation the right to inspect and copy financial records upon written request.

“Any member may make a written demand to inspect the books and records of account. The corporation shall make the records available for inspection and permit copies or extracts.”

Robin Ridge HOA Bylaws

These bylaws establish the rules for Board elections, terms, and homeowner rights. Violations of these provisions can result in loss of Board legitimacy.

Article IV – Section 5 (Election and Term of Office; Staggered Office)
“At the expiration of the initial term of office of each respective Director, his successor shall be elected to serve a term of two (2) years. The Directors shall hold office until their successors have been elected and hold their first meeting, except as is otherwise provided.”

Director Terms (Article IV, §5)

Requires two-year terms for Directors after the initial staggered setup; Directors hold office only until successors are elected and seated.
